Damon grew up in the Houston / Galveston area before moving to Austin in 1986 to attend college.   After attending Southwest Texas State University and The University Of Texas he bought out the owner of a two year old sign company called Signs In A Flash.     Signs In A Flash needed a fresh start so Damon changed the name to Signs Express and eventually moved the company to its present location in Southwest Austin.  After working as a co-owner of Sign Express, Damon is very excited about the launch of his new company, The Austin Sign Factory, in May 2022 as sole owner.   Damon has been in the sign industry for 27 years and is very passionate about working with clients to make their sign buying experience easy and fun.  In his spare time some of his favorite things to do are to spend time with his wife, family, and friends as well as traveling, mountain biking, camping, and fishing.
